I've watched the movie today.

The first part of the movie is relatively good - dynamic enough and the characters are believable.
Yet I've almost fell asleep watching the second part. First of all, I am very happy for the filmmakers that they know how to use modern technologies, but it would be very helpful if they tried to think about their movies without it - what would be left of the film if we took all the computer generated graphics out? Probably nothing. I still believe that the basis of the good movie is the script, but nowadays people sacrifice the script to the visual effects. I don't enjoy a movie which on 70% consists of computer generated pictures, if there is no story attached. It's simply boring, if nothing is going on.
And the characters, who were believable at the beginning of the movie started to behave really weird afterward. Why the hell has mother left her two small children? I don't see the motivation to believe in it. Does it carry the story forward? Why Why did the screenwriter include the episode, when the father is beaten up? Does it carry the story forward?

"The Lovely Bones" - ***

Yesterday, after the third in a row disconnection of the BT wi-fi internet and the error on the web-page as I've tried to re-connect, I've been told by the technical support worker that I probably should change the provider. Well, yes, but I wasn't prepared to hear that from them really. I thought, you should try not to lose your clients.

I've tried to sign a contract with Virgin media, they've told me I don't have enough credit history... How should I get a credit history if no one will sign a contract with me?..

Now I am waiting for PlusNet to activate the phone line and connect the internet. Hopefully, that will work.

I am trying to write down specific hints on how to write a screenplay given by tutors in the school. Gonna do it in the form of checklist. Some tips seems to be pretty on the nose, yet sometimes we don't notice the most obvious things...

So few tips for now:

* - Does the scene start at the right moment?
* - There should be no repetitions in the script
* - Avoid the exposition (rather explain smth through action than using a dialogue)
* - Never return to the same time in the scene you cut from

Well, at least I won't forget it myself.
